NITI Aayog’s Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) is one of the excellent initiatives by the Government of India to promote the culture of Innovation and Entrepreneurship across the country. ATLs has the potential to give wings to the ideas of our young minds and also gives a platform for them to explore the world of Tinkering from the school stage itself. There are 239 schools in Telangana which have got ATLs and out of which around 60 ATLs have received the funding till now. Hence, in order to create a knowledge-sharing platform for all the Atal Tinkering Labs in the state, ATL Incharges Meeting was initiated so that ATL Incharges could collaborate with each other and share the best practices.
Every month one of the ATLs will take the ownership of conducting the meeting in their ATL Premises and discuss the ways they could improve the functioning of ATLs. This is one of the first steps towards ensuring quality and collaboration which would enable us to build the culture of Innovation in the state. Telangana being the youngest state in the country has the potential to become the land of Innovators given the untapped young minds who are waiting for an opportunity to express their ideas.
